Many people have reported problems attending sessions and playing back recordings with the new Vista client. We believe there is a problem with the "setup.exe" file that is preventing correct installation. Until we have this issue resolved, this simple work-around should get the client running.
(For all steps, if prompted by the UAC, click 'Continue')
1) Click on the 'Start' button and select 'Control Panel'
2) Select the 'Uninstall a Program' link. If you have your control panel set to the classic view the link is called 'Programs and Features'
3) Select 'Centra Client' from the list
4) Click the 'Uninstall / Change' link. It is located directly above the program list.
5) A dialog box with the message 'Are you sure you want to completely uninstall Centra Client' will appear. Click 'Yes'.
6) After the uninstall is complete, log into the Centra web site.
7) Click on the 'My Schedule link from the navigation bar on the left, then choose the 'Ongoing' tab.
8) Every class you attend will have a 'Playback' or an 'Attend' link. Click on one of link for any one of your classes.
9) If using the Playback page, click the 'Playback' button. The client will install itself at this time and the event will start.
